Rebuilt in the 16th century
under the direction of Vignola on top of a pre-existent structure
of the 13th century by Count Sforza Marescotti, husband of
Ortensia Farnese, from whom descend the actual owners, the
Ruspoli. The four towers at the corners witness its medieval
origins. The "Secret Garden" wanted by Ottavia Orsini in the
17th century is remarkable. Inside there are nice frescoes
and paintings of different periods.
