The Museo Civico exhibits Etruscan
and Renaissence remains of the area of Castro. Remarkable,
the funerary gifts of the Civilisation of Rinaldone and the
Etruscan sculptures of the necropolises of Castro. There are
as well remains of the Roman and Longobard period and six
frescoes of the 13th century from the hermitage of Poggio
Conte. Among the testimonies of the Town of Castro, there
is a beautiful portal ascribed to Sangallo the Younger.
